Progineous Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which you can request a refund for products and services purchased from Progineous or through our partners and affiliates (“Services”).
General Terms
These terms apply to all Services eligible for a refund. Additionally, specific products and services may have unique terms, which are outlined below.
- A Service is eligible for only one refund.
- Services must be cancelled before a refund can be issued.
- No refunds for domains involved in Trademark Infringement or related legal issues.
- Services suspended or terminated for cause are not eligible for refunds.
- For Service(s) bundled with a free domain as part of a promotion, the standard price for the domain will be deducted from the refund. If the refund amount is insufficient to cover the domain cost, you must either pay the difference or forfeit the domain, which will then revert to Progineous.
- All refunds are processed in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations between payment and refund.
- Refunds will be credited to your Progineous account unless requested otherwise. Purchases made via credit card or PayPal may be refunded to the original source. Cryptocurrency deposits are non-refundable. Progineous is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your bank or PayPal.
- Any processing fees will be deducted from the refund.
Additional conditions based on specific terms notified at the time of purchase may apply.
Special Terms
Domain Name Registration
- Domain name registrations and related services are generally non-refundable.
- New domain name registrations may be refundable within 5 days of registration, subject to Progineous’s discretion and registry restrictions.
- No refunds for After Market Domain Names, unless rejected or cancelled by Progineous, the registry, or the third-party seller.
- Fees for Premium Domains, Pre-Orders, Sunrise, Landrush periods, Early Access Program participation, and associated services are non-refundable.
- Failed domain transfers to Progineous will be refunded as account credit.
Domain Name Renewal
- Domain name renewals and related services are typically non-refundable.
- A renewal may be refundable within 5 days, at Progineous’s discretion, unless restricted by the registry.
- Certain TLDs (.AU, .CA, .CH, etc.) are not eligible for renewal cancellation.
Web Hosting
- Fees for Web Hosting and related services are generally non-refundable.
- First-time Shared Hosting and other specified hosting packages may be refundable within 30 days of purchase.
- Renewals may be refundable within 48 hours of renewal, or a prorated refund may be considered.
- No refunds for additional features, services, or domain name registrations associated with your Web Hosting package.
Reseller Hosting
A full refund may be requested within 7 days of the purchase date for Reseller Hosting, and the refund will be processed back to the original payment method. If the 7-day period has passed, the refund will be issued as account credit.
The refund period begins from the date of the order and can be requested only once within 30 days from the purchase date. Any additional fees paid for other items such as domain names, SSL certificates, and other services will be deducted from the refund amount.
Private Email Hosting
- Fees for private email hosting and related services are generally non-refundable.
- Cancellation and refund requests within 7 days of charge may be considered.
SSL Certificates
- SSL Certificate fees are generally non-refundable.
- Refunds in the form of account credit may be available under specific conditions within 90 days of purchase.
PremiumDNS
- PremiumDNS service fees are non-refundable, with possible exceptions within 5 days of purchase.
Apps Marketplace
- Apps purchased or renewed through the Marketplace may be refundable within 24 hours of purchase/renewal, except for immediate, one-time service apps.
- No refunds for apps with a free trial period if the service is used beyond the trial.
Non-refundable Services
Includes G Suite changes, domain transfers or renewals, recovery or reactivation fees, promotional purchases, and non-service related support fees.
Refund Requests
Submit a helpdesk ticket including:
- Acknowledgment of reading our Refund Policy.
- Reason for the refund request.
- Transaction details (e.g., account username, transaction number, domain name, date of purchase).
We will review your request and may require additional information. Failure to provide necessary information may result in request closure.
